A:  We hear you. Our rates are both transparent and affordable. Charges are based upon the word count of the document in need of editing, and upon the level of service desired.

Proofreading (includes one review): 0.8 cents per word

Proofreading and Line Editing (includes two reviews and one conference): 1.4 cents per word

Proofreading, Line Editing, and Content Coaching (includes three reviews and three conferences): 2.5 cents per word

Q:  Will you help me format my dissertation/thesis/article? Will you help me format my bibliography?

A: Yes, we can help. These services are billed at a rate of $50 per hour. Clients interested in these services should contact us for a free consultation. After reviewing exactly what you need, we can give you an accurate total cost.

Q: English is not my native language. Can you help me to make sure my writing is free of grammar and syntax errors?

A: Yes, absolutely! ESOL (English as a Second or Other Language) editing services and conferences are billed at a rate of $50 per hour. We recommend using this service for one chapter of your dissertation or thesis before contracting for a tier of service to be used for your entire document. Many clients for whom English is a non-native language are pleased to learn that only 1 or 2 hours of additional editing and conferencing are needed. Clients interested in these services should contact us for a free consultation.

Q: If I sign up for Proofreading, Line Editing, and Content Coaching, will you write my research questions for me? Will you choose my research methodology? Will you find conclusions from my data?

A: No, no, and no. What we will do is give you an expert opinion as to whether your research questions and your methodology are compatible with one another, and whether your conclusions are supported by your data. In other words, we’ll ask you questions (and answer your own) to help you think through potential problem areas in your dissertation/thesis/article, but we won’t make decisions for you.

Q: I don’t really have time to write a dissertation/thesis/article. Will you write it for me?
